Procuring for Ireland’s Future: Have Your Say

Whether you are one of the PR agencies on the 2024 Framework for the provision of public relations and communications to the public sector, or not, this will be of interest to you.

The Government is embarking on a process to shape the future of public procurement with the development of the first National Public Procurement Strategy. This initiative, led by the Office of Government Procurement (OGP) under the Department of Public Expenditure, NDP Delivery and Reform, aims to gather diverse perspectives to inform the strategy for the next five years.

As part of the consultation process, a wide invitation has been issued. Whether you are a public body, a business (including social enterprises), an NGO or a political representative, your voice matters.

How to Contribute?

An online survey has been created to capture your views and suggestions. PRII encourages all our members and readers to participate based on your experiences and insights on public procurement.

There are questions on green public procurement, socially responsible public procurement and innovation procurement. transparency and digital procurement, among others.

Deadline for Submissions

Please ensure your contributions are submitted by 5 pm on Tuesday, 20 May.
