PRII Members Invited to Shine A Light on Child Homelessness

Every child deserves a safe place to call home. Yet thousands of children across Ireland are growing up without the security and stability that a home provides.

That's why Focus Ireland is encouraging members of the Public Relations Institute of Ireland  to get involved in the Shine A Light sleepout, proudly supported by Sisk, and join a growing network of professionals, businesses and organisations taking action to help end child homelessness.

Shine A Light brings together individuals, colleagues, businesses and communities from across Ireland to raise vital funds and awareness for Focus Ireland's work supporting people experiencing homelessness.

Whether you take part on your own, with colleagues, or as part of a wider team, your involvement helps shine a light on one of Ireland's most urgent social issues while supporting practical solutions that help families build brighter futures.

Shine A Light is more than a fundraising campaign. It's an opportunity for people across Ireland to demonstrate their commitment to creating a society where no child has to grow up without a home.

By taking part, you will be helping to:

• Support essential services for families experiencing homelessness
• Raise awareness of the challenges facing children without a stable home
• Contribute to long-term solutions that prevent and end homelessness
• Inspire collective action within your profession, workplace and community

How You Can Get Involved

Whether you're participating as an individual, bringing colleagues together, or mobilising your wider network, there are plenty of ways to take part:

• Sign up as an individual participant
• Create a team with colleagues or peers
• Join an official Shine A Light event in Cork or Dublin
• Organise your own sleep out event in your workplace, local group or club
• Support a participant through sponsorship or donation

However, you choose to get involved, you'll be helping to raise vital funds and awareness for families experiencing homelessness.
