Latest JNLR/Ipsos Summary Results
77.8% of adults (down 0.3%) listen to the radio every day for more than an average of 3.5 hours per day during the prime listening period of 7am to 7pm. National Radio has a 46.2% listenership (up 0.6%), with the listenership of local radio at 53.8% (down 0.6%).
Throughout the country, Dublin (53.3%) and the greater Dublin commuter belt (54.1%) holds the greater national listenership levels; whilst local/regional radio holds the majority percentages in other areas of the country with the highest levels in Cork (61.5%), the North-West (59.8%), and the South-West (67.7%).
