Irish organisations continue to support DEI

Coincidentally, and supporting what delegates said at our internal comms conference, The Business Post (13 July) reports that many Irish companies are strengthening their commitments to diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI), even as some global counterparts scale back.

The article highlights findings from a new survey by the Irish Management Institute (IMI) showing that a significant number of Irish firms are not only maintaining but expanding their DEI initiatives. While some international companies are retreating from DEI due to political or economic pressures, Irish businesses appear to be taking a long-term view, embedding DEI into their core values and leadership practices.

This reinforces one of the messages from our conference: internal communications professionals have a pivotal role in sustaining inclusive cultures and ensuring DEI is more than just a box-ticking or performative exercise.
