Cong Village in Co. Mayo will once again become a hub of ideas and imagination as the 13th annual CongRegation unconference returns from November 28–30, 2025, under the theme “Chaos.”

This unique event blends thought-provoking discussions with immersive social experiences, creating a space where curious minds converge.

The weekend kicks off with a Night of Chaos at the iconic Ashford Castle, featuring eclectic talks that promise to challenge perspectives. William O’Connor, Foundation Professor at the University of Limerick School of Medicine, will explore how embracing chaos can help us “Make Your Life Count.” Meanwhile, Billie “Bee” Bryan, a Caymanian-born artist and chaos magick practitioner, will reveal how witchcraft can bring method to madness. Musician Shane Wearen, founding member of The Pale, will demonstrate how chaotic sounds transform into harmony, sharing stories from life on the road.

On Saturday, November 29, the heart of CongRegation unfolds through intimate huddles across multiple venues in Cong Village, where over 100 speakers will present their insights. The day culminates in creative workshops at Ryan’s Hotel, followed by dinner and a lively pub sketch crawl led by artist Zanya Dahl, chaos-themed board games, and an OpenMic brimming with poetry, music, and stories.

The final act on Sunday is a reflective Chaos to Order Walk through the serene Cong Woods—a fitting close to a weekend of exploration and connection.

Every attendee earns their ticket by submitting a personal reflection on “Chaos” via https://www.congregation.ie by November 26. This ensures a level playing field where students, retirees, and business leaders share equally, fostering meaningful dialogue without hierarchy.
