Alan Tyrrell Appointed CEO of The Reputations Agency
He succeeds founder Niamh Boyle, who has decided to step down after more than two decades at the helm of the agency she established 22 years ago.
Over the past two decades, The Reputations Agency has established itself as a partner to many of Ireland’s most prominent blue‑chip organisations. Its work spans strategic counsel for CEOs, boards, and leadership teams, helping clients leverage reputation as a catalyst for transformation and sustainable growth.
The firm is also well known for its respected annual research outputs, including the Irish Reputation Index and the Ireland Sustainability Reputation Index, delivered in collaboration with the global Reputation Institute. These studies have become widely referenced benchmarks across the communications and corporate affairs landscape.
The Reputations Agency operates within Jim Donnelly’s Creative Communications Group, which also includes agencies such as goosebump, Mindshare/WPP Media, and Folk VML, part of the wider WPP network. This group structure positions the agency within a strong creative and strategic ecosystem, supporting both its continued expansion and its role within Ireland’s communications sector.
As the consultancy enters its next chapter with Tyrrell at the helm, the leadership team has emphasised continuity, innovation, and deepened strategic advisory as core pillars of its future direction. The agency reiterated that the change reflects a long‑planned succession designed to support its next phase of growth.
