Purpose Disruptors Ireland has collaborated with PRII and PRCA members to create a free sustainability communications resource for communication professionals in Ireland.
The resource aims to drive better industry outputs by supporting the ongoing education of practitioners across Ireland, giving people skills and confidence to communicate accurately and effectively while promoting more sustainable lifestyles. It is a response to a PR industry survey where 51% of PR communications professionals said they would like an overview of sustainability and where to start and 34% expressed a need for help in decoding sustainability terminology.
It includes a guide on the role of communications experts, with advice on claims, acronyms and training opportunities. The guide is intended to be an evolving document and will be continually updated.
