Open House party for Annmarie Jordon

Last Wednesday, we held an ‘Open House’ party for Annmarie Jordon at 84 Merrion Square and it was packed! After 26 years of exceptional service, our beloved Annmarie has retired.

The celebration of Annmarie’s career with the Institute was attended by around 50 people including our President, David Geary, no less than seven past Presidents, current and former National Council members, PRII Fellows, Diploma graduates and lecturers, colleagues, members of 50 years and members of 5 years, and of course Annmarie's family. It was heartwarming to see so many members, and loved ones, come together to honour her well-deserved EARLY (!) retirement.

Annmarie, and all of us at Merrion Sq, want to thank everyone who attended on the night, dropped in personally or sent cards to the office or sent their messages of and thanks. The latter have been gathered in a special memories book for Annmarie which she will read when she has recovered from the craic at the party!
