Niamh Ward presented with PRII Life Fellowship

PRII hosted a Fellowship Evening for the recipient.

PRII hosted a Fellowship Evening at the Irish Architectural Archive, Dublin on 24 April to celebrate the latest PRII Life Fellow, Niamh Ward. 

PRII President, David Geary, presented Niamh with the Fellowship certificate in the presence of family, friends and peers. 

In his acceptance speech, Niamh spoke about her career in Public Relations and Education. She reflected on her strong association with the Institute over the years and her contribution in building the PRII Diploma. 

Congratulations to Niamh, once again.   

Life Fellowship is the highest honour that the Public Relations Institute of Ireland can bestow on a member.

Niamh Ward has contributed to the PRII and the public relations sector in Ireland for over thirty years, mainly in education. She worked as Director of the Diploma in Public Relations, at Rathmines College of Further Education for over twenty years, teaching PR, media analysis and communications. She is a long-standing member of the PRII and a Fellow of the PRII for over fifteen years. She has also served for many years on the PRII National Council during which she made significant contributions in ensuring high standards of teaching and learning on the PRII Diploma in Public Relations.

Today she is a Principal at the Crumlin College of Further Education.

A formal presentation will be made in the coming weeks to Niamh by the President of the PRII, David Geary, at a special event.
