The Public Relations Institute of Ireland (PRII) makes three honorary awards – Fellows, Life Fellows, and Honorary Life Member (also referred to as the President’s Medal).
PRII Fellowship or Life Fellowship is awarded to full members of the PRII.
Honorary Membership can be awarded to any person that the National Council deems has made a significant contribution to the Institute or to the communications sector.
Those who are awarded the title of Fellow or Life Fellow and will be requested to make themselves available for mentoring PRII students or affiliate members or involvement in PRII professional activities.
Nominations for Fellows and Life Fellows will be assessed by a Subcommittee on Nominations annually and its decision placed before the National Council for approval. Life Fellows nominations having passed the National Council, must be approved by two-third of those present at the Annual General Meeting.
