The only annual conference in Ireland dedicated to those working in Public Relations and Strategic Communications.

The theme for #PRIIConf25 is ‘Transformation & Trust: Communicating for Impact in a Disrupted World.'

A breakdown of the theme:

  • Transformation ties in to economic, geo-political and digital change, hybrid work, DEI shifts and policy ‘pivots.’
  • Trust is the critical currency for all organisations and particularly communicators and media in today’s changing landscapes, and connects to issues like mi/dis-information, ethical communications, media literacy, and AI tools proliferation.
  • Communicating for Impact keeps the focus on public relations and communication professionals and the delivery or return for investment in communication.
  • In a Disrupted World, wars in Europe and the Middle East, catastrophic climate and weather events, cyberattacks, the year after The Year of Elections in 2024, tariffs, post-pandemic cultural and behavioural shifts…

By participating in #PRIIConf25, you can connect with others, share ideas, and contribute to change for the better.

It will bring together 200+ communications professionals to hear from national and global speakers and thought leaders, to discuss developing trends and learn from case studies and the latest research.

Chief Executive, UK Government Communication Service

We are delighted to welcome Simon Baugh as one of this year’s keynote speakers. In his address, Simon will explore “The Skills and Capabilities Needed in Today’s Communicators”—a topic at the heart of modern communication practice.

As Chief Executive of the UK Government Communication Service, Simon has been instrumental in modernising the profession to ensure it is equipped for the future. Among his many achievements:

  • Pioneering AI in Government Communications: Simon led the development of GCS Assist, the world’s first AI tool for government communications. Now used by over 4,000 professionals across 200 organisations, it is delivering productivity benefits worth more than £5 million annually.
  • Driving Innovation in Media Strategy: He established the New Media Unit, designed to respond to evolving media consumption habits. This unit integrates expertise in data, paid media, partnerships, and creative content—all aimed at building public trust in an increasingly complex information environment.
