Format & Delivery

This course is being delivered using a blended online approach. This will consist of:

  • Live online sessions to discuss core material, associated exercises, and to hear from Guest Speakers (with opportunity for live Q&A).
  • A final in-person session, which will include time for learners to deliver presentations.
  • Optional self-directed learning with a dedicated course resources webpage.

Assessment & Certification

  • A reflective journal (10% of grade)
  • Participant presentation (15% of grade)
  • Write an internal communications case study (75% of grade)

Participants are encouraged to draw on the readings, modules, and discussions to demonstrate how the learning applies to their own professional context.

The PRII Certificate in Strategic Internal Communication will be awarded on satisfactory participation and successful completion of the course assessment.

This course is accredited by the Public Relations Institute of Ireland (PRII) - the professional body for communications and PR in Ireland.
