PRII is delighted to launch the findings of its third nationwide research study of those working in public relations and communications in Ireland on Thursday, 26 June, from 4 pm to 5.30 pm at the Society of Chartered Surveyors Ireland (SCSI), 38 Merrion Square East, Dublin 2.
In addition to sharing the economic contribution of the sector to the Irish economy, this year's census findings will explore the changing practice of public relations in Ireland, employment trends, career benefits and satisfaction, levels of hybrid working, and topical issues such as the use of AI.
Administered by our research partner, Amárach Research, an independent market research agency, Gerard O’Neill, Chairman, Amárach, will present the research findings along with PRII CEO, Dr Martina Byrne.

Gerard O’Neill is Chairman of Amárach Research and leads the strategic consulting practice in Amárach, working with senior management teams to create resilient strategies for the future. He is a graduate of the London School of Economics and worked previously in the Henley Centre for Forecasting and An Post. Gerard is a Fellow of the Marketing Institute of Ireland and has recently served as Chairperson of MII. He served two terms on the National Statistics Board, a statutory body overseeing the development of official statistics in Ireland. His book – 2016: A New Proclamation for a New Generation – is published by Mercer Press.
