Job Summary/Description:

Limerick City and County Council seeks a dynamic and experienced individual to lead its Marketing and Communications Department. Reporting directly to the Director General, the Head of Marketing and Communications will drive strategic communication initiatives, enhance the Council’s public image, and ensure effective engagement with internal and external stakeholders.

The Head of Marketing and Communications is essential for Limerick City and County Council to effectively engage with its diverse community and stakeholders. This role ensures that the Council's initiatives, services, and achievements are communicated clearly and consistently, fostering transparency and trust.

Effective marketing and communication strategies can significantly enhance public awareness and participation in Council programs, leading to more informed and engaged citizens. This role will also be pivotal in managing the Council's and Limerick’s brand and reputation, ensuring that Limerick is perceived positively both locally and beyond.
