We are seeking a Senior Account Manager to join The Reputations Agency's expert team. This pivotal role is for a highly skilled public relations professional with a proven track record in strategic communications, capable of managing and building robust, lasting client relationships, developing impactful integrated strategies, and leading a high-performing team. As a Senior Account Manager, you will be a primary strategic partner for your clients, understanding and ensuring their objectives are met through exceptional delivery and innovative campaigns for high profile brands. This role requires strong communication skills, a deep understanding of the media landscape, and the ability to think both creatively and strategically.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Client Partnership: Act as a primary day-to-day strategic contact for clients, providing expert counsel, leading impactful meetings, and ensuring deep understanding of client objectives.

Integrated Campaign & Strategy Development: Design, develop, and execute cutting-edge PR and communications campaigns aligned with client goals, identifying and leveraging opportunities across media, events, stakeholder engagement, influencers, sponsorships, and partnerships.

Advanced Media Relations: Cultivate and leverage strong media relationships to consistently secure top-tier, impactful coverage on behalf of our diverse client portfolio. Oversee the strategic creation and distribution of compelling media materials.

Team Leadership & Project Excellence: Manage and mentor junior staff, oversee budgets, ensure key delivery metrics are met, and meticulously manage project timelines. Foster a collaborative team environment, sharing expertise and driving collective success.

Crisis & Issues Management: Proactively develop and implement robust crisis communication plans and materials, effectively mitigating potential reputational damage for clients.

Performance Reporting & Insight: Track comprehensive campaign performance, conduct in-depth analysis of results, and provide insightful reports to clients and internal stakeholders, ensuring continuous improvement and strategic adaptation.

Skills Requirements:
  • A minimum of five years' progressive PR experience, with significant time in an agency or consultancy environment, including at least two years in a senior client-facing capacity.
  • Demonstrated ability to strategically manage key client accounts, lead complex campaigns, and consistently secure high-value media coverage.
  • Possession of extensive and valuable media relationships across relevant sectors.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal, with a proven ability to produce sophisticated and persuasive strategies, plans, and messaging content.
  • A profound understanding of, and genuine interest in, the news and business agenda, coupled with an innate ability to identify compelling news angles and proactively generate media opportunities for clients.
  • Superior project management capabilities, with the ability to work collaboratively across cross-functional teams, displaying excellent judgment, time management, problem-solving, and budgeting skills.
  • A high standard of education with relevant third-level qualifications; a commitment to continuous professional development is highly valued.
  • A creative and pragmatic approach, combined with a meticulous attention to detail and a proactive, results-oriented attitude.
  • Proven experience in crisis communications and issues management.
  • Strong knowledge of influencer marketing, digital media trends, and stakeholder relationship building.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
