Banking & Payments Federation Ireland (BPFI), together with its affiliates, the Federation of International Banks in Ireland (FIBI) and the Fintech & Payments Association of Ireland (FPAI), is the principal voice of banking, payments, and fintech in Ireland. It mobilises the sectors’ collective resources and insights to deliver value and benefit to members, enabling them to build competitive and sustainable businesses that support the economy, customers, and society.
BPFI is seeking to appoint a full-time Communications Co-Ordinator to its Communications team. Working closely with the Director of Communications and the wider team, the ideal candidate will support the development and delivery of BPFI’s communications and events strategy in line with BPFI’s strategic business goals and objectives.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Oversee the management and content for regular and effective member communications, including but not limited to daily updates and newsletters.
- Manage the development of BPFI’s website content and structure, drawing on business activity from across the wider BPFI team
- Drive all content creation for BPFI’s social media and digital channels, leveraging materials such as our events, press releases, and publications, and working with colleagues across the BPFI team to identify all suitable opportunities to promote the work of BPFI.
- Manage the monitoring, development, and distribution of weekly updates on Oireachtas activity and oversee the real-time monitoring and reporting of key agenda items, debates, and relevant PQs as they arise.
- Work with BPFI’s Head of Communications to support the management of BPFI’s communications and media strategy.
- Work with BPFI’s Head of Events to support the rollout of BPFI’s conference and events programme.
- Support the production of research and statistical reports for report production, reviewing, and proofreading content.
- Provide support across the wider team in the production of reports and papers, availing of digital tools, ensuring consistency of and adherence to brand guidelines
- Provide practical and administrative support across the Communications team as and when required.
