Our Public Affairs Practice
Our award-winning team helps clients navigate the Irish and EU policy landscape, engage with key decision-makers, and manage legislative opportunities and risks. With backgrounds at the highest levels of Government and politics, we provide insight, strategy and support across sectors including technology, renewable energy, infrastructure, pharma, finance and not-for-profit.
You will work closely with a highly experienced team made up of the Managing Director, two Directors, a Senior Client Manager, a Client Manager and a Senior Client Executive — reflecting the breadth and depth of Drury’s public affairs expertise.
The Role
Due to continued growth, we are seeking a motivated Client Executive to join our expanding Public Affairs team. You’ll support client accounts, political monitoring, research, and strategy execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor Oireachtas activity, government statements and party communications.
- Research client sectors and emerging policy issues.
- Support stakeholder mapping, engagement planning and reporting.
- Draft compelling content for use in traditional and digital media.
- Assist in developing and delivering public affairs and communications strategies.
- Maintain strong client relationships and ensure high-quality, timely delivery.
About You
- 1–2 years’ experience in public affairs, communications, media or politics (agency or Oireachtas experience is desirable).
- Strong writing, organisation and communication skills.
- Attention to detail with ability to manage deadlines and multiple priorities.
- Highly motivated, proactive and collaborative.
- Qualification in politics, public affairs, communications, journalism, business or related field.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and AI
