Key responsibilities will include:

  • Play a key role in the execution of integrated communication and public affairs campaigns.
  • Manage media and Oireachtas monitoring and reporting for key clients.
  • Support the creation and implementation of stakeholder engagement programmes.
  • Development of press releases and communication material.
  • Support event management, in particular, media opportunities and photocalls.
  • Maintain a strong awareness of political and other external developments

KEY EXPERIENCE:

  • 2-3 years’ experience in a related field.
  • In-house or agency Public Affairs/PR experience is favourable.
  • A relevant third level qualification (e.g., communications, digital marketing, public relations, journalism, politics).
  • Ability to commence employment swiftly an advantage.

SKILLS:

  • A self-starter, ability to think on your feet and to take ownership of tasks that are assigned to them.
  • Excellent writing and presentation skills.
  • Proficient IT skills including Microsoft Office suite.
  • Solid understanding of social media and the digital media landscape.
  • An ability to work both as part of a team and, at times, independently.
  • Strong organisation, time management and attention to detail.
  • An understanding or interest in learning about the Irish media, political and policy-making environment.
  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
  • An ambitious individual who has the enthusiasm to join a dynamic team and fast-paced environment.
