We the People is a multi-award winning, social marketing and strategic communications agency working exclusively for positive social impact in Ireland. We are now looking for a passionate and talented Account Administrator to join the team, supporting our diverse range of high profile social issues-led clients. We are looking for a creative spirit, with a bright mind and professionalism who can enthusiastically support the delivery of complex campaigns on serious issues.

This role is ideal for someone with strong coordination skills who enjoys keeping projects on track, producing clear documentation and helping deliver smooth, professional client service.

You’ll work closely with account leads and specialists across marketing, social media, and communications. Familiarity with these areas is helpful, but direct experience isn’t essential. You’ll be part of a highly collaborative team, where clear communication, shared responsibility, and supporting colleagues is central to how we work.

Required Experience & Skills

Minimum 2 years’ experience in an administrative, operations, office support, account support, project support, or similar coordination role. Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks, priorities, and deadlines.

  • Excellent written communication and attention to detail (formatting, accuracy, grammar).
  • Comfortable working in a busy virtual environment with changing priorities.
  • Clear, confident communicator who shares information proactively and contributes positively to team workflows.

Desirable (But Not Essential)

  • Familiarity with marketing, social media, and PR services (terminology, common deliverables, general workflows).
  • Previous experience supporting client accounts, agency teams, or professional services environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to account teams across multiple clients and projects.
  • Maintain accurate records of client activity, project documentation, and internal trackers.
  • Assist with scheduling meetings, taking notes and managing follow-up actions.
  • Conduct research to support client projects (e.g., competitor reviews, industry trends, audience insights, media lists).
  • Skill in research across various sources (e.g. AI tools, Google, analytics tools, policy documents etc.)
  • Summarise findings clearly and present them in well-structured formats.
  • Produce and format documents such as proposals, presentations, reports, contact lists, meeting agendas, and minutes.
  • Ensure documents are accurate, on-brand, and aligned with internal templates and standards.
  • Support reporting by compiling data and updates from internal team members and systems.
  • Confidently use Microsoft Office and Google Workspace to create and manage documents, spreadsheets, calendars, and shared drives.
  • Organise files and ensure version control, accessibility, and compliance with internal processes.
  • Comfortable with Slack and/or other project management or team collaboration software
  • Understanding ethical and professional use of AI tools in the workplace
  • Support client communications by preparing materials, keeping timelines updated, and ensuring deliverables are properly documented.
  • Liaise with internal teams to gather inputs and keep project admin running smoothly.
