The Junior PR Account Manager is a dynamic role for a mid-level professional ready to step into account leadership. You will act as a primary point of contact for clients, bridging the gap between high-level strategy and execution. You will be responsible for the daily momentum of client account, managing integrated PR and digital campaigns, overseeing budgets, and beginning to hone your skills in client counsel and junior team management.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities
- Daily Lead: Act as the day-to-day lead for a portfolio of clients, ensuring all deliverables are met on time and to THE HIVE’s high standards.
- Client Counsel: Facilitate client meetings and provide proactive updates, becoming a trusted advisor on tactical execution.
- Budget Oversight: Monitor account hours and budgets, ensuring campaign resources are used efficiently.
Media Relations & Pioneering Strategy
- The "Newsroom": Lead the drafting of press releases, and feature pitches; securing high-tier, impactful coverage.
- Network Building: Maintain and expand a robust network of media, journalist, and producer contacts across consumer/ lifestyle and corporate sectors.
- Event Strategy: Lead the conceptualization and logistics for photocalls, media launches, and press trips.
Digital & Influencer Marketing
- Integrated Campaigns: Work to ensure digital content is synchronized with traditional PR efforts.
- Influencer Strategy: Lead end-to-end influencer campaigns, from identifying the right brand ambassadors to negotiating contracts and analyzing ROI.
- Trends & Insights: Monitor the digital landscape to bring "first-to-market" ideas to clients.
- Content : Execute content strategies to drive brand growth and engagement while utilizing social listening tools to analyze audience sentiment and monitor competitor activity.
- Management: Provide direct guidance for Account Executives and Interns.
- Reporting: Production of campaign evaluations and monthly reports, ensuring insights are strategic rather than just descriptive
Person Specification
3+ years of agency experience is essential (this role is for someone ready to move up).
Undergraduate degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.
A proven track record of managing integrated campaigns for high-profile clients.
- Project Management: Exceptional ability to manage multiple workstreams and deadlines without losing attention to detail.
- Strategic Writing: Mastery of tone—able to switch between the safety-first narrative of Volvo to the artisanal storytelling of Glendalough Distillery.
- People Skills: Ability to mentor junior staff and manage upwards to Account Directors effectively.
- Creative Spark: A natural "ideas person" who can think of creative angles for media drops and brand activations.
- Tech Proficiency: Familiarity with PR and social content tools (Canva, CapCut).
