JOB ROLE: Support, Corporate Communications

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Strategic

• Support the development and implementation of Fáilte Ireland’s Internal Communications strategy and contribute to new initiatives that will lead to authentic staff engagement.

Operational

• Liaise with teams across the organisation to identify communications opportunities and develop content.
• Produce high quality written materials such as newsletters, internal news articles, briefing documents etc.
• Contribute to the delivery of creative content such as videos, presentations and infographics.
• Support the management of Fáilte Ireland’s digital Internal Communications channels; upload articles to the intranet, set up internal broadcasts and design and issue newsletters.
• Provide support for meetings/workshops/events by setting up venue, organising room layout, dealing with invitees etc.
• Measure and report on communications campaigns, events and digital channels.
• Support the team on all administration tasks such as recording meeting minutes, document creation and filing.
• Support the team on all financial management tasks.
• Fulfil other duties and support the wider work of the Corporate Communications & Public Affairs Team (media relations, stakeholder and industry communications) where required. 

KEY COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:

Experience:

Minimum of two years’ experience in a Communications, Public Relations, agency, media or equivalent role

Skills:

Essential Criteria

In order to be eligible to apply for this role you must have / demonstrate in your application form the following: 

• Minimum of two years’ experience in a Communications, Public Relations, agency, media or equivalent role
• Excellent communication skills with experience writing and creating content
• Strong digital skills with experience working with digital applications, platforms or channels
• Experience reporting on and measuring communications campaigns and digital channels
• Organisational skills and ability to multitask and work to deadlines
• Experience working cross functionally with other teams, stakeholders and/or clients

Desirable Criteria

The following would also be beneficial:

• Internal Communications experience
• Experience supporting the delivery of events
• Experience working with Microsoft 356 suite of applications particularly Teams, SharePoint and PowerPoint
• Experience working with digital content publishing platforms for example websites, blogs, social media or newsletter creation platforms
• Experience with design applications

Qualifications:

A Professional Qualification (minimum Level 6 under the QQI Framework) in a related discipline is essential
