Senior Account Manager - Q4PR

Q4PR is seeking to recruit a motivated Senior Account Manager. This role would suit an established communications professional looking to further develop their skills and work with a range of clients, primarily in the corporate sector.

JOB ROLE: Senior Account Manager

Key responsibilities will include: 

  • Developing integrated communications campaigns
  • Optimising public relations opportunities so candidates need excellent media relationships
  • Engaging with key external and internal stakeholders on individual projects and ensuring a coordinated approach to all comms activity
  • Drafting supporting documents and resources for public consumption including media releases and social media content
  • Maintaining a strong awareness of political and other external developments that are relevant to clients
  • Reporting to a Client Director on the progress achieved in the implementation of communication campaigns 

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Over 6 years in a communications role
  • In-house or agency Public Affairs/PR experience is favourable as is the ability to work quickly as a journalist might
  • Excellent writing and storytelling ability and experience
  • Creativity – we regularly work with designers, photographers and videographers so visual skills are an asset
  • Proven understanding of the Irish media landscape and ability to develop, pitch and land stories effectively
  • An ability to work successfully as part of a dynamic team
  • Commitment to delivering a positive client experience at all times
  • Have an interest in identifying business opportunities with new or existing clients
  • Proven track record of being able to multi-task effectively and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Enjoy unpredictability and flourish in a fast-paced environment 
  • An understanding of and interest in the Irish political and policy-making environment
  • Technical ability in PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, Word and media monitoring software
  • Experience of working across a broad range of communications channels including digital media (requirement to create content for LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter channels)

Q4PR is complying with all Government guidelines related to Covid-19. The team is currently working remotely and will continue to do so until such time as the guidelines change. The successful candidate will be empowered to onboard in a remote environment.
