The Office of Corporate Communications is the ‘public face’ of An Garda Síochána and represents the Garda Commissioner.  The Office of Corporate Communications operates the following Sections – Garda Press Office, Corporate Communications which oversees the Garda social media presence and public awareness campaigns, and Internal Communications.

Garda Corporate Communications is hiring a Public Affairs Co-ordinator.

The Public Affairs Co-ordinator (HEO civil service grade) will be responsible for the development of speeches, opening statements, and briefing materials to senior Garda management for key public and oversight appointments, and on emerging issues.

The Public Affairs Co-ordinator will work directly with the Director of Communications.
