The purpose of the role is to be responsible for overseeing the Central Bank’s parliamentary affairs as part of the Bank’s strategy and is aligned to the Open and Engaged theme to ensure effective parliamentary engagement. The individual will provide strategic advice, guidance and will report to the Bank’s senior management on parliamentary affairs, political engagement, party political activity, relevant Dáil and Seanad activity, and potential issues management. They will support the Head of Division - Communications in order to ensure the ongoing enhancement and maintenance of the Bank's reputation, and the public understanding of its decisions.
Five years of parliamentary affairs experience including engaging directly with political stakeholders.
Degree/ relevant experience in banking, economics, journalism, public relations, public affairs, political engagement or corporate communications.
