The right candidate will play a central role in the day to day running of Ireland’s largest GP representative organisation and will lead all aspects of communication and event management.

The Communications Manager will report directly to the CEO.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for creating and implementing the NAGP’s communications strategy
  • Media Relations
  • Internal communications to 2,000 GP members
  • Event management
  • Driving engagement through online communications and social media
  • Managing the production of all publications
  • Manage relationships with suppliers e.g publishers, photographers, venues
  • Additional tasks as needed

Key Requirements

  • 3 years’ experience in PR, communications, public affairs or a related role
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organisation and project management skills
  • Experience in the health care sector an advantage
