Client Executive - Host & Company

Host & Co. are expanding their PR team in Dublin and are recruiting for the role of client executive.

They’re looking for a bright, committed individual with excellent communication skills and a strong work ethic to work in a dynamic, imaginative and results-driven agency specialising in hospitality, travel, food and drinks public relations.

Host & Company is a great place to work. The super busy but always fun offices on South William Street are dog-friendly and they wok with passionate, brilliant clients all over the island. There are delicious things to eat and drink on a regular basis, lots of interesting and stimulating people to meet, and fascinating stories to tell.

The work will involve some travel, evening and weekend work from time to time, and they have fair and flexible working arrangements.

JOB ROLE: Client Executive

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work across a range of clients with the Client Director/Client Manager to include campaign research and team support.
  • Support the development and implementation of PR strategies.
  • Ongoing development of strong relationships with media to include pitching, writing news releases and proactively sharing client stories.
  • Ongoing client reporting
  • Planning for social, digital and offline initiatives and campaigns.
  • Maintaining positive working relations with clients through regular communication, meetings and reporting.
  • Keeping up to date with what is happening in the food, drink and travel sectors.

KEY COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:

Experience:   

  • Has two years’ experience in a related field (PR, media)
  • Has experience supporting campaign activities from beginning to end
  • Has proven digital expertise in both developing social media strategies and  implementing digital campaigns

Skills

  • Has exceptional attention to detail
  • Is a creative thinker
  • Has an interest in and passion for all aspects of hospitality
  • Has a strong and demonstrable knowledge of the Irish media market
  • Can work calmly to strict deadlines and work well under pressure

Qualifications:

A relevant third level qualification (e.g. communications, digital marketing, public relations, journalism)
