We the People, one of the most exciting agencies in Dublin, is looking for an experienced PR account manager to join the growing and diverse team.

We the People is a multi-award winning, social marketing and strategic communications agency working exclusively for positive social impact in Ireland. Unique in this position, We the People brings high levels of creativity to public information, public sector and NGO clients. Specialising in behaviour change, youth and education, health and wellbeing, We the People has led some of the most innovative and exciting public campaigns in recent years.

We are now looking for a passionate and talented account manager to join the team to lead our diverse range of very high profile social issues led clients. We are looking for a creative spirit, with a bright mind and immaculate professionalism who can tirelessly lead the delivery of complex campaigns on serious issues.


  • Lead several client projects; including the delivery of writing, high level media relations, content creation, digital PR & marketing and stakeholder relations
  • Manage colleagues, creative contractors, suppliers and project budgets
  • Contribute to the development of creative ideas and strategies
  • Contribute to new business development and public sector tenders
  • Manage project budgets


Experience: At least 3 years experience - agency preferred

Education: Third level degree preferred (or equivalent work experience)


  • Writing skills at journalistic standard
  • Storyhunting and storytelling skills
  • Knowledge of the media landscape, in particular features and social affairs and strong experience of landing stories - extensive network of contacts required
  • Intuitive understanding of social media platforms and innovations in the digital media sector
  • Understanding of strategy and how to apply strategic thinking to work
  • Ability to work on a number of projects and clients simultaneously while under pressure
  • Proven budget management skills
  • Line management skills
  • Experience of working directly with clients and providing useful consultancy
  • Experience of public sector communications tendering

Location: At the company’s offices in Dublin 1.
