Q4PR, Ireland’s leading strategic communications agency, is seeking to recruit a motivated Account Executive.  

The successful candidate will play a key role in helping to create and roll out the day-to-day communications, PR and public affairs activities for a number of exciting public projects.   

The new recruit will be core member of a dynamic and flexible team working with clients in a range of sectors, public and private. The team is seen as being an extension of our clients’ internal teams and is committed to collaboratively devising and implementing solutions to meet our clients’ needs.  

The new role would suit newly established professionals looking for a challenging yet rewarding role to further develop their leadership skills and broaden their stakeholder network. The role will be full-time.

    Key responsibilities will include:  

  • Play a key role in the execution of integrated communications and public affairs campaigns.  
  • Lead on the creation, design and execution of client social media campaigns, and monitor their progress.  
  • Monitor media, social media and Oireachtas sessions,  and provide clear, concise updates to clients and colleagues.  
  • Support the planning and delivery of large-scale stakeholder events with internal and external partners including press conferences and community forums.   
  • Stakeholder mapping and provision of support in the roll-out of stakeholder engagement programmes.  
  • Attend and participate in meetings and presentations with clients and stakeholders.  
  • Draft supporting documents and resources for public consumption including press releases, brochures, information booklets, consultation documents etc. 
  • Act as the point of contact for a range of service providers and suppliers of advertising, graphic designers and digital agencies. 
  • Perform a variety of office administration duties including, but not limited to: 
  • Monitoring and replying to queries via email; 
  • Supporting Communications Managers with various aspects of procurement and payment process e.g. seeking quotes from suppliers/preparing and issuing invoices; and 
  • Supporting Communications Managers with preparation and issuing of any letters via post. 


  • 1-3 years’ experience in a related field.  
  • In-house or agency Public Affairs/PR experience is favourable. 
  • A relevant third level qualification (e.g., communications, digital marketing, public relations, journalism). 
  • Ability to commence employment swiftly an advantage. 


  • A self-starter, ability to think on your feet and to take ownership of tasks that are assigned to them. 
  • Excellent writing and presentation skills.  
  • Proficient IT skills including Microsoft Office suite. 
  • Excellent event management skills would be beneficial.  
  • Solid and comprehensive understanding of social media and the digital media landscape across all platforms.  
  • An ability to work both as part of a team and, at times, independently. 
  • An ability to multi-task effectively.  
  • An understanding of the Irish political and policy-making environment. 
  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail.  
  • An ambitious individual who has the enthusiasm to join a dynamic team and fast-paced environment.
