The PRII Diploma in PR 2021/2022 is under way. On Monday 20 September, this year’s class of Diploma students were welcomed to the course by CEO Dr Martina Byrne, Education Co-ordinator Annmarie Jordan and Development & Research Manager Frank Condon before attending their first live lecture from strategic communications consultant and former PRII President Niall Quinn, MPRII.
Between now and the end of the year the students will be studying Module 1: The Professional Environment & Strategic Value of Public Relations with Niall Quinn; Module 3: Media Theory & Practice with Frank Dillon; and Module 6: Public Relations Campaigns with Steve Rawson.
In 2022 they will study Module 2: Communication Theory & Practice with Dr Kevin Hora; Module 4: Complementary Professions with Steve Rawson; Module 5: Law, Regulation, Ethics & the Political Environment with Tim Ryan; and the second part of Module 6: Presentation Skills.
We wish all of this year’s students the very best for the coming academic year as they work towards Ireland’s most widely recognised and respected professional communication qualification.
