The Public Relations Institute of Ireland (PRII) have launched the second nationwide study of the Public Relations and Communication sector in Ireland.
All members of the PRII, employees of Public Relations Consultants Association (PRCA) member agencies, and those in the sector who are not members of either body, are invited to take part by clicking on the survey link here.
It takes 12 to 15 minutes to complete and will close on Thursday, 28 July.
The first ever such Census carried out by PRII in 2019 was a great success in terms of the numbers of respondents, the richness of the data outputs and the contribution it made to our ability to profile the profession among external stakeholders. And it helps us to make available the supports, training and events PR people find most useful. Three years on, it’s time to update the data we have.
The data gathered, together with desk research and economic modelling, will inform the understanding of the contribution public relations makes to the Irish economy. It will help define the role of PR and Communication in-house and in agency, in private and public organisations, and assist the PRII to meet the needs of members now, and in the near future.
The census survey is being administered by the PRII’s research partner Amárach, an independent market research agency. Responses are completely confidential; none of the information provided will be identifiable at a personal or organisational level.
All who participate in the study will be given the opportunity to enter a draw for a chance to win a complimentary ticket to the annual PRII Conference in November.
So please, give 15 minutes of your time and share the survey link with other PR and Communications people in your social and professional networks. The more respondents, the more we will all know about our sector.
