The Awards for Excellence in PR, hosted by the PRCA and PRII, are the annual celebration of the very best Irish PR and Communication work by public, private and not-for-profit organisations.
More organisations than ever before entered this year’s Awards, submitting entries across twenty-seven categories. The campaigns shortlisted reflect the wide range of work undertaken since March 2020 despite, and because of, Covid-19 including: public and employee health information; environmental issues; sports and fitness; anti-crime campaigns; online cultural events and entertainment; further education; and closing and re-opening Ireland for business and tourism.
Four early career professionals have been shortlisted for the 2021 Young Communication Professional of the Year title — the shortlist is included below.
Our thanks go to the 13-strong judging team of industry leaders, headed up by Neasa Kane-Fine, FPRII and to our sponsors, Paragon, Fennell Photography (In-House PR Team of the Year) and RuePointMedia (Best Issues Led Campaign).
The Awards will be announced live online at a Gala event from the Round Room at Dublin's Mansion House on 25 June; tickets go on sale soon. Here is the Awards for Excellence in PR 2021 Shortlist: —
