The Public Relations Institute of Ireland (PRII) has brought together a panel of six experienced PR professionals and academics to teach its flagship Diploma in PR, which starts on 25th September.
Steve Rawson has over 20 years’ experience as a strategic communications specialist and will teach Complementary Professions and Public Relations Campaigns & Presentation Skills.
Following an extensive review with industry and professional stakeholders led by Dr Martina Byrne FPRII, a former Director of Public Affairs at Wilson Hartnell PR with over 20 years industry experience, the PRII Diploma in PR has been revamped and is now being delivered directly by the PRII from September 25th.
Steve Rawson, has lectured on the PRII’s Diploma in Public Relations for over ten years teaching strategic PR planning and PR Specialised Areas along with politics and public affairs. He also lectured for five years on the DCU-affiliated All Hallows College MA in Management where he taught PR, Advocacy and Public Affairs.
Now in its 31st year, the PRII Diploma in Public Relations is aimed at graduates or career changers seeking to move into a communications role, as well as communications and public relations practitioners seeking formal recognition of their professional attainment.
The next intake for the Diploma commences on Monday, September 25th, 2017. Classes will take place every Monday and Wednesday evening.
