Justin Green is one of the most widely experienced professionals in the communications industry. This experience has been gained over 25 years, which includes 18 years membership of and service to the Public Relations Institute of Ireland.
During this time Justin has actively engaged and devoted a considerable amount of time, energy and commitment to the PRII, its members and professional development.
As one of the longest serving members of National Council, he has served as Treasurer, Chair of Education, Vice-President and as President of the Institute. Having sat the PRII's own Diploma in Public Relations he went on to become President, the first President to hold the PRII awarded Diploma. He also holds qualifications in Business Management and International Marketing.
He has and continues to make a major contribution to improving and advancing industry professional standards and ethics, achieving recognition for practitioners and enhancing the services which the PRII offers it's members.
As President, he served the industry and the PRII with distinction and was instrumental in introducing many reforms and initiatives benefiting members and the overall industry. He has chaired local and international conferences, including hosting a PRII event to make the 10th anniversary of the Northern Ireland Peace Agreement and other events as well as representing the Institute internationally.
He has and continues to provide a vital and strategic role in the long term planning of the Institute. As Treasurer over the last two years, Justin and PRII staff have worked hard in turning the Institute's financial looses into a healthy trading surplus.
Justin was appointed the first ever Global Ambassador to the African Public Relations Association (representing over 20 countries) and was appointed a Honorary Fellow of APRA in 2011.
He is also Global Ambassador for the Public Relations Society of Kenya and has been an Honorary Fellow since 2009.
Justin played a major role in securing the 2015 'Global Alliance Conference' for Kenya and was awarded an individual 'Outstanding World Achievement Award' for his advancement of excellence in Public Relations and Communications during that Conference.
In his professional role as a Public Relations Director, Justin has devised, led and implemented many award winning campaigns for international artists and events including Robbie Williams, Lady GaGa, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Prince, Disney on Ice, U2, Eminem, Michael Buble among others.
He also played an important role and advised on key events such as the visits to Ireland of US Presidents Barak Obama and Bill Clinton as well as the MTV Music Awards and Special Olympics World Games in Dublin.
During his career in Public Relations, Justin has worked with national and international governments, State agencies, local authorities, law enforcement agencies, sporting organizations, international commissions and institutes as well as global business brands.
He has trained, lectured and delivered guest addresses internationally to industry bodies, members of Parliament and Universities at home and abroad including an address at the African Union Commission (AU).
As Vice-President of the PRII Justin would continue to work tirelessly to advance the interests of members and reputation of the Public Relations industry in Ireland both at home and internationally.
