The business of internal company podcasts — Patrick Haughey
With the exponential growth of podcast listenership, more and more companies are turning to this medium as an effective and innovative way to engage with their customers and clients. However, many larger companies are now creating podcasts to reach a different target audience - their workforce.
As it becomes harder to get employees to open emails, read newsletters, or spend time on the company intranet, podcasts can engage staff members in a way that feels intuitive, on a platform they’re familiar with (Spotify, Apple Podcasts), and while they are not at their desks.
Patrick Haughey will talk about the rise of ‘internal’ company podcasts – what are they, who is making them, what they cost to make, and what’s the payoff.
