Many times a day, often without realising it, we make sense and influence how others make sense of the world around us. We do this using arguments. Not arguments with raised voices. Arguments which involve claims and supporting reasons. The problem is that arguments often come at us so fast that we don't have the time to analyse their merits and respond effectively.
It is essential for public relations and communications practitioners to be able to identify and unpack weak arguments as they are presented and respond with clear, strong and well reasoned arguments. Critical thinking enables you do this.
This workshop will enable you spot weak arguments, know why they are weak and develop strong arguments based on clarity, precision, relevance and depth in real time. These skills will enable you develop sound judgement, and advanced problem solving and decision making skills.
