First Winners of the Irish Young Cannes Lions PR Competition Announced

Congratulations to the First Winners of the Irish Young Cannes Lions PR Competition 

The Public Relations Institute of Ireland (PRII) and the Public Relations Consultants Association (PRCA) are pleased to announce that Emma Williams MPRII and Jennifer Hyland of Edelman have won the first ever Irish heats of the Young Cannes Lions PR competition.

Emma and Jennifer will now represent Ireland in the PR competition at the Young Cannes Lions in Cannes in June.

The Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity is a global meeting place for those passionate about creativity in communications and is attended by over 15,000 people from over 105 nations.
 
In Cannes, Jennifer and Emma will compete against national representatives from over 30 countries. All national representatives will be given just 24 hours to answer a brief and present to a panel of leading global PR professionals. They will be supported in their preparation by the PRII and PRCA and on their return, will be asked to share their experience and learnings from Cannes with the wider membership.
 
The PRII and PRCA are sponsors of the Irish PR Young Cannes Lions competition which is run by IAPI, the Cannes Lions representative in Ireland.
