Electric Ireland won Best Use of PR for #ThePowerWithin campaign sponsorship of Team Ireland for the Rio Olympics at this year’s European Sponsorship Association Excellence Awards.
There was plenty of Irish representation among the winners with Lidl Ireland winning the Best Newcomer to Sponsorship for their sponsorship of Ladies Gaelic Football, as well as the Sport Sponsorship Award < €750,000 (which also saw Electric Ireland’s #ThePowerWithin highly commended) and the ESA Sponsorship of the Year Award also going to Lidl’s for their sponsorship of Ladies Gaelic Football.
AIB’s Backing Club and County/#TheToughest campaign came out on top in the Best Use of Social Media category at the awards held in London last Thursday night, February 9th.
Electric Ireland who were highly commended in the CSR Partnership category for the Darkness into Light campaign.
