Communicators and communication researchers love their stories. It’s no wonder. Research from the fields of cognitive behaviour and neuroscience has confirmed that the human brain responds better to stories than any other form of communicative messages.
In this presentation, Dr. Terry Flynn, Associate Professor of Communications Management from the Department of Communication Studies and Multimedia at McMaster University (Canada) and a visiting research professor in the School of Communication at DCU for the next month, will share his published research on the behavioural sciences behind storytellers and their stories.
