PRII and the Department of Political Science in Trinity College Dublin are pleased to host ‘Perspectives on Lobbying Regulation’, a half-day conference on the impact of the Lobbying Register on the practice of Public Affairs.
The conference will reveal how the Lobbying Register not only offers transparency, but serves as a valuable information resource for lobbyists.
Professor Raj Chari (TCD Department of Political Science) and Dr. Michele Crepaz (IRC Postdoctoral Research Fellow, TCD Department Of Political Science) will examine how Irish lobbying regulation compares to other EU and non-EU states and present the findings of their recent research among Irish public affairs professionals, which was supported by PRII.
Sherry Perreault (Head of Ethics & Lobbying Regulation, SIPOC) will respond to the findings alongside a panel of agency and in-house public affairs practitioners.
The conference will take place from 08:30am - 12:30pm on Tuesday, 14 May in Buswells Hotel.
