Mark Rutherford
Mark Rutherford is Intel Ireland’s Environmental Health and Safety Manager. Mark has worked in Intel for 14 years in the environmental, safety and emergency response areas. He has responsibility for all environmental, health and safety matters across the site including management of Intel Ireland’s EHS staff, liaison with regulatory authorities and, in partnership with the corporate affairs group, community and other groups, ensuring compliance to legislation and driving continuous improvements in management systems.
Prior to Intel, Mark served as a Captain in the engineering corps of the Permanent Defence Forces. He is a Chartered Engineer and holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) from University College Galway and a Masters of Industrial Engineering from University College Dublin.
